Japan Blue Endlers
You will be shipped young pairs of these gorgeous little fish. These are a new line for us with a cross between our Neon Sky Blue Females and Standard Japan Blue Endler males. These have the same lovely blue as our Neon Sky Blue line carries but these have the tail and top fin of the Japan Blue Endlers.
Life span averages from 2 - 4 years if kept in a well maintained tank that doesn't have uncontrolled Nitrite, Nitrates, and Ammonia levels.
Bred and raised by us and fed a Diet of high quality guppy foods. These fish are not picky eaters but do need a good diet for optimal health.
Classification - K Class as the original Blue Endler's these were developed from an Endler and Guppy cross
AKA - Endler Guppies, Endler/Guppy Hybrid Livebearers
Originally Bred: Japan/US
Breed True: 100%
Stock: Tank Raised
Phenotype: As pictured, consistent population
Prey on fry: Rarely
AKA: Endler Guppies, Endler Guppy Livebearers, Poecilia Wingei
A small piece of guppy grass is included in the bag with the fish. Plant this in your tank and watch it grow! These fish love it. They do best if kept in tanks with clean water and live plants to give them hiding places and give the fry a better chance at survival. Unlike guppies its rare for them to eat their own young. Some of them are determinedly suicidal jumpers, so a cover on the tank is a must.
Endler livebearers are very hardy and undemanding in the aquarium. They prefer hard, warm water, but they will do very well in soft water as well. The warmer the water, the faster they will grow: 27 °C (75-81 °F). This is slightly higher than their guppy cousins, which prefer 23–25 °C (73-77 °F).
Shipping: The shipping Box will be insulated, well packaged and heat packs will be included as needed for the survival of your new fish during shipment. If we foresee issues with shipping due to weather or other issues (late arrival of hot packs for shipping), ship out time may be delayed. Currently we ship Monday, Tuesday, sometimes on Wednesday and on Saturday. We do not label our boxes with "Live Fish" as this causes delays and DOAs. The largest risk in shipment is the fish being left in a mailbox upon delivery.
